With the GMP5, we set out to create what we felt would be a “magnum opus” - the ultimate GiantMouse folder to date. A cool design with an even cooler look and finish. The GMP5 is the kind of folder that we feel checks all boxes;
- Awesome materials
- Great ergonomics
- Perfect fit and finish
- Great steel
- Carries nicely
- Fun! (Yes, it Spydie-flicks perfectly!)
- Bold appearance
- SEXY! (you’ll agree once you handle it)
We rounded the scales by using a subtle wave milling that catches the light and brings life to the handle. The milled 6Al-4V Titanium looks, and feels, almost organic when you turn the knife in your hand.
The blade was designed to be a perfect all around user. A high Saber Flat Grind makes it a strong but very effective slicer, and the pronounced swedge provides a fine point for penetration without losing strength at the tip.
For the steel we went back to the early years of Vox and Anso´s knife making. The Swedish Elmax, from Uddeholm Steelworks, has been a favorite among Scandinavian knife makers for many years. A powder steel known for its corrosion resistance, stability, edge retention and high wear resistance. A perfect working steel for those who use their knives.
If you’re a collector, a user, a knife connoisseur, or simply looking for a knife that is as beautiful as it is utilitarian, you are going to love the GMP5!
Limited to 100 numbered pieces.
