When we set out to create the GMF1, the goal was to strip away everything unnecessary until we were left with a tool that felt like a natural extension of the hand. It has become a cornerstone of our line—a compact fixed blade that punches far above its weight class. With the GMF1-MG, we wanted to honor that original vision while bringing in some of the absolute best materials currently available to the industry.

The heart of this version is the CPM MagnaCut steel. It’s a rare breed that doesn’t ask you to compromise, offering a level of toughness and edge retention that defines the current pinnacle of blade tech. We’ve paired that high-performance steel with Green Canvas Micarta scales, providing a warm, tactile grip that feels broken-in from day one. It’s a combination that balances the technical with the traditional, resulting in a knife that is as much a workhorse as it is a piece of functional art.

This is the GMF1 in its most refined form. It’s a tool designed to be carried every day and used for a lifetime, developing its own character as the Micarta patinas and the steel proves its worth.
