With the GM3 we wanted to design and make a more “gentleman like” folder, but we wanted it to be enough of a knife to serve as a great EDC piece. Accordingly, we designed a flipper that is slender with a refined tip, but strong and with a lot of edge. The slim handle profile makes it a perfect companion in the pocket as well as a good feeling tool in the hand. The handle fills your palm, but the shape makes it very easy to rotate the knife, or reposition your grip, when working with it. 

The nail-nick is simply there to give you the option of a quiet and subtle opening. While we do love a good flipper, it can seem a bit aggressive to some when you flip that blade into place at a children’s birthday party to cut open the pink giftwrap with the unicorns. Also, the big nail-nick looks great and adds to the overall design, in our opinion.
