Happy 2025, GiantMouse family! Another year in the books. Believe it or not, 2024 marked our 9th year as a knife brand—and what a year it was. We continued to push the EDC envelope, taking chances, embracing new paths, and innovating with each release. None of which would have been possible without the incredible support of the GM community!

We here at Mouse HQ are emerging from the holiday haze, preparing for all the new adventures to come this year. But before we venture forth, allow us a moment to reflect on 2024’s momentous achievements. A chance to toot our own horn, if you will. The GiantMouse team proudly presents this look back at the wild, wonderful 12 months that just flew by.

Last year brought some exciting additions to the ACE lineup, starting with our largest folder to date: the Biblio XL. This formidable "big brother" to our classic Biblio design quickly became a fan favorite, leading to a number of stunning iterations throughout 2024, from Titanium Magnacut to Blue G10. Then came the ACE Bleecker, our innovative take on a gentleman’s folder. Modern, sleek, and the perfect pocket fit, this beauty continues to surprise and delight, offering a ton of edge in a slim, ergonomic package.

Along with these new designs, we released some ridiculously awesome versions of classic blades, learning from usage and feedback to advance closer to perfection with each iteration. The Titanium-handled Tribeca, Iona V2, and REO models proved to be particularly popular. But perhaps the most thrilling was the new ACE Nimbus V3 with Scandi blade profile—our first knife to feature a traditional Scandinavian flat bevel running from spine to cutting edge.

2025 also saw the expansion of our non-knife arsenal, with killer additions to the GiantMouse Hard & Soft Goods collection. We’ve continued to explore new ways to build out the brand, from high-quality beanies, shirts, and hoodies to Torch Flasks, MiiR Camp Mugs, and our first microfiber polishing cloth. The real crowd pleaser seemed to be our limited Brass Zippo Lighter with bit driver insert. (But our canine companions would probably vote for the Pirate Mouse Dog Toy.)

There’s nothing we love more than taking this show on the road. It’s been a pleasure meeting the GiantMouse faithful coast to coast, hitting knife shows and conventions for some face time with the community. We even managed to snag a few awards along the way. Here’s a look at the highlights:

Atlanta Blade Show — Always one of our favorite weekends of the year. This stop was especially sweet as our new GMF1-XL, which launched only a week beforehand, was named “Imported Fixed Blade of the Year.” Another immensely proud moment in the GiantMouse journey, following our GMF4 winning "Best Factory Fixed Blade" at Blade Show West last October, and the GMX taking "Overall Knife of the Year" last June in Atlanta.

Blade Show West — Our rag-tag crew had a blast out in Salt Lake City this year! Blade Show West is a truly spectacular event—like Christmas in October. We get to show off our wares, meet Mouse fans face-to-face, and check out all the other amazing knife makers. To top it off, our ACE Sonoma V2 Auxikko, a collab with the amazing folks at Carryology, took home the award for “Best Factory EDC 2024.”

Castle & Key Distiller’s Blade - We cooked up something really extraordinary with our friends over at Castle & Key Distillery this year. The limited release Castle & Key Distiller’s Blade represented a unique convergence of heritage, craft, and quality. This unlikely collaboration culminated in a special event at the distillery in August, where both teams came together to celebrate and swap stories with knife and bourbon enthusiasts alike.

Field & Stream Best Hunting Folder — Finally, we are proud to announce that our ACE Jutland was bestowed the prestigious title of "Best Folding Hunting Knife" by Field & Stream—for the second year in a row! This accolade marks yet another stellar achievement for our mighty brand, and a serious badge of honor for the rugged outdoorsman's knife we worked so hard on. An affirmation of our tireless pursuit of innovation and quality.
